Sari Featherstone has been in the entertainment business for more than 40 years. She started out in theatre, playing such roles as Golda in Fiddler on the Roof and Fanny Brice in Funny Girl. She went on to front a Canadian show group performing in night clubs throughout Canada and the United States, including Harrah’s in Atlantic City and The MGM Grand in Reno, Nevada. Her group Shazam was a finalist in The Du Maurier Search for the Stars. She has appeared on various television variety shows and recorded in Los Angeles, California.
She currently entertains in senior’s homes, runs Dream Big — a performance coaching course for people of all age. She also performs for children and runs and interactive music program for moms and tots and preschoolers. She teaches a theatre course and a theatre an intense one-week boot camp for teens.
Sari has recently performed for an evening at The Richmond Hill Performing Arts Centre.
Along with her love for singing, theatre, entertaining seniors and children and performance coaching Sari has a love of decorating and will take any opportunity to redecorate anyone’s home including her own.
Sari has recently returned to her roots in theatre. Nunsense was her first musical comedy in 30 years and she loved every minute of it. She has directed High School Musical for the Queensville Players (which will she will direct again in the spring of 2020) as well as written and directed original plays for QP.
